There are a few astonishingly simple rules to follow. 1) no soda, cola, limo, energy drinks and even juices should be from real fruits without added sugar 2) drink a lot of water 3) eat something VERY small (half an apple maybe?) every two hours. Some fruit. It will give your body the necessary sugar -> glucose -> energy to work with, so it won't build up reserve fat for "bad times" 4) NO SNACKS in between, NONE 5) REGULAR meal times and sleeping times 6) enough sleep / food (starving yourself will make your body build up a fat reserve) 7) workout! Jogging (not running) or something similar
I think she looks perfectly healthy, and beautiful. If she were unnaturally thin, you'd see ribs jutting out, which are not evident here. She has muscle tone in her abdomen, evidence of a healthy lifestyle. She is not angular and bony, but soft and slim, and that's not a crime. Sounds like some people might be inwardly jealous of her, just saying. I think she's downright gorgeous, and I can appreciate her simple beauty.
Just adding to the conversation, I am 21 years old, 5'4", and I have weighed 95-100pounds for the past couple of years. I eat more fast food than I should, I don't work out ever, and my bones stick out in a way that is almost unattractive lol.. granted my unhealthy habits may catch up with me in the future, but just cuz someone is thin doesn't mean they have an eating disorder This model is beautiful though.. her ribs don't stick out the way mine do lol I'm jealous! She looks healthy!
I'm impressed by the type of comments left on this image, and the number of people who left them. They're quite disgusting, and I am shocked that anyone would take the time to bring someone they don't know down.
It's upsetting. So, I apologize on the behalf of humanity for the unnecessary rudeness that has been received. You and your models seem hold incredible talent, and compose brilliant pieces of artwork. ^-^
The comments on this image nearly made me cry. My feelings, as I scrolled down, ranged from horror, to disgust and even empathetic embarrassment. I do realise that there are a number of people who will NEVER be able to achieve a body like that of the model (myself included) and due to basic human nature are simply jealous, but is there any reason at all for the rudeness and disregard shown for both the photographer and the model? Since when has being fit been something to mock? I could perhaps understand if you could see any visible signs of unhealthy eating behaviours and were legitimately concerned for the woman's health, but the fact is, you can't and you're not. Do you really think that this model should put on weight to make you feel better about your own body image? My suggestion, for all that it's worth: look at this not as an insult to your imperfections, but as something to aspire to; being fit is something we can all achieve, regardless of factors like metabolism speed, current weight or even inclination to exercise.
Now, to the artist: I would first like to commend you on your work, and for putting up with all of the flak directed towards you. Second, I would like to apologise for the disgraceful commentary above on behalf of those (few, it seems) remaining people in the world who were brought up with the decency and respect required to function in this increasingly shockingly-mannered world.
You would be wrong sir. She is skinnier than what would constitute as 'normal'. She is small in frame, which is why proportionally you may not think she looks TOO skinny.... But you can be too skinny even if ribs aren't sticking out. I happen to love her figure however.
I'm not typing this with the intention to flame/bash but I've seen fat people and thin people and this doesn't completely come across as natural to me, I'm not saying it is actually photoshopped but it just looks that way to me. I'm also saying this judging from the fact that her skin looks almost too smooth to be completely natural.... If what I said doesn't happen to be true at all, I must say I apologise and that this model sure should be lucky the way she looks
wow she has such a nice expression tbh something on her made me stop at this picture...I don't know what it is....
and to those other posts... I'm afraid to say, that I had a similar body to her before a few years without beeing unhealthy. I was just eating normal and was very active and I want that back XD <----so working on a more healthy lifestyle, because when I stopped doing so i got a slightly over normal weight BMI, but BMI is such a bitch in judging people.....it's not working if you have a very petite body shape in a natural way....also if you have way too less muscles :/ or the other way around.... actually I know some people who have that kind of waist just naturally....
(btw. you can see if it's unhealthy or not if you look at their skin thickness, skintone(sometimes), muscleshapes)
